DE-ACTIVATION SESSION

Yes, you need professional training

for taking a pause.

What does it mean to DE-ACTIVATE? Is it physical or mental? Is it yoga or is it meditation? Or is it tuning in, to tune off?

With daily busy-ness increasing, do we give ourselves a break? Is there a pause button? The pause is important to function at our optimum. The pause is to prevent a breakdown. DE-ACTIVATION is THAC’s unique biological action of relaxation.

Some of the ways to reboot, is through the various forms of DE-ACTIVATION – at the structural, functional, sensory, and mental levels. Each of these forms, together or separately, depending on your body, will help you to unblock, open and create space for oxygen, blood and nourishment to flow efficiently.

With practice you will learn to create time, space and energy, with the help of various tools and techniques. Taking short frequent breaks allows you to recharge your health battery, preventing it from draining out fully.

When Breath flows easily, Oxygen and Blood courses effortlessly through your structure, held by the posture, you sit stand or move in. This is what Self Care really means.

How Does It Work ?

  • DE-ACTIVATION is a systematic build up, to reboot and recharge, to scan and release – stress, blockages, pain, stiffness, soreness or numbness.
  • STRUCTURAL DE-ACTIVATION – Long hours of sitting or standing or being in a particular posture can create stiffness in the body, creating blockages. Structural DE-ACTIVATION helps provide the body with the much required movement to create space within to function. .
  • FUNCTIONAL DE-ACTIVATION – The role of the lymphatic system in the body is to allow collected toxins and lymph to flow. Lymphatic movements doesn’t allow debris to gather and accumulate. It also helps to unblock pain and stiffness.
  • SENSORY DE-ACTIVATION – We absorb our world through our senses. Our senses communicate through the nervous system to the brain. Today our senses are hyperactive all the time with an overuse of digital medium along with noisy traffic sounds. Overactive senses lead to an overworked nervous system and brain. DE-ACTIVATION helps to cool down the body, to conserve energy, to relax the nervous system.
  • MENTAL DE-ACTIVATION – When our senses are overactive, our brain is also overworked. We are constantly dabbling with what happened in the past and what to do in the future. It is important to create space in the brain and give it a much needed switch-off, from time to time. Mental DE-ACTIVATION helps when one is feeling emotionally overwhelmed or when one feels ‘out of control’.
