Going deeper
One subject at a time.
How do we draw the line between knowledge and information? It is tough when there is a constant onslaught of ideas both new and old, an information-overload with everything accessible on our finger tips. Every Open House is an attempt to distil clarity from all the buzz surrounding us and bridge the gap between Natural Laws and the world outside .
Every session is an occasion to dive deep to see things that we can’t see at shallower depths. Just like divers use dive lights to bring colour back to what they are seeing in the deep sea. An Open House sheds light on specific topics, dives deeper into the subject, understands it better and gleans from it what is relevant to wellbeing.
Topics in health and wellness that we tend to be misled in, like what is fat, understanding the effect of electromagnetism, what is good / bad cholesterol, myths around drinking water, managing stress etc. are put into perspective.
How Does It Work ?
- Topics that affect our daily wellbeing and health choices are chosen and announced in advance for an Open House.
- In depth research from different points of view are presented to provide a holistic view on the topic..
- Audio Visuals are used to throw more light on the topic.
- Additional notes are provided with each Open House.
- The Open House is also a space for THAC community members to connect with each other and experience the energy of a large supportive collective.
- As for new members, the Open House is a forum
to get familiar with Natural Laws and get a taste of THAC in terms of food, nutrition, community
and life. - This is an opportunity to interact with one another and the THAC team members
- These Open Houses not only showcase THAC’s food legacy for its community, but also make edible morsels of how to imbibe the THAC way of life and make a healthy habit out of it.
UPCOMING OPEN HOUSE
FOOD AS PHARMACY?
Separating Myth from Facts
Even before drugs and medicines dispensed through prescriptions and pharmacies, became the common source of cures and relief,
Salves, poultices, concoctions and pastes, have long been whipped up in kitchens and homes.
Creating comfort, reducing distress and finding a quick fix has always been a need when ill and unwell.
What do these cultural nuskas have in common?
How do they differ from pharmaceutical medicines?
What is medicine?
What is it needed for?
What is food?
What is it’s role in healing and regeneration?
Can both – medicine and food, be equally traded?
Coconut oil, Aloe Vera juice, Flax seed, Curcumin tablets, high protein bars, are these just fads or miracle cures?
Find out all this and more, in this Open House.
Date and Venue will be announced later.
